Some carving experience or morning class is helpful. (Adults - 16 years or older only)
This afternoon session of power carving will introduce you to more advanced carving techniques including relief carving, inlaying cabochons and faux basketry.
Bring a power rotary tool (Dremel or other brand) and any carving accessories you have on hand. (Suitable burs will be available from the instructor at class.) Bring a good quality dust mask or purchase one at class. Your class fee includes a gourd suitable for carving, handouts and some basic supplies.
